How to Buy a Gun Online:
Firearms may only be shipped to a licensed dealer (FFL Holder). Some items may not be legal in your state. Read below for instructions on how to complete your purchase within the law.
You do not have to be a licensed dealer to buy a firearm. If you are not a licensed dealer, you must make arrangements with an FFL holder in your area to receive the item and transfer it to you. Anyone who is involved in the sale or distribution of firearms is a FFL holder, including gun shops, gun ranges, gunsmiths, pawn shops, etc.
We strongly recommend that you contact your local FFL holder before purchasing. By doing this, you can verify that all county, state and federal laws will be observed. You also must be able to pass an ATF background check.
It is your responsibility to make sure that you comply with the laws of your city, county and state. If you are unsure of the regulations regarding purchasing a gun in your state, pleasse consult the NRA’s Federal and State Firearm Laws. You can visit the ATF website. They have compiled a listing of State Laws and Published Ordinances for firearms.
